Linden Hills

A home shaped by classical proportion, natural materials, and a serious home chef.

Built on an urban lot in an established Minneapolis neighborhood, this new home was designed to feel settled from the start. The clients were drawn to formality, but not fussiness. The white stucco exterior and Spanish tile roof give the house a sense of permanence without making it feel overly grand.

Inside, the home balances that more formal architectural language with the realities of an active young family's daily life. The kitchen was planned for serious cooking, with the function and durability to support real use. Throughout the interiors, layered materials, considered furnishings, and carefully resolved details reflect the clients' precise eye, giving the house weight and refinement without making it feel fragile.
